Community Forum (The Commissioners Court invites persons with comments or observations related to County issues, projects, and policies to briefly address the Courtfor the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda. Anyone speaking during the Community Forum should first identify themselves by their first and last names for the public record. There is a 3-minute time limit, and large groups interested in the same topic should select a spokesperson. 6. Discussion for the purpose of coordination and cooperation for efficiency between precincts. No action will be taken.

8. Consider dates/ times/ locations for the early voting period for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election, as recommended and approved by the Wise County Election Board. Take necessary action. (SS)
9. Consider election day polling locations, and the consolidation or combining of certain voting precincts as allowed under the Election Code, and as approved and recommended by the Wise County Election Board, for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election. Take necessary action. (SS)
10. Consider appointing Elections Administrator Sabra Srader as the Joint Elections Officer for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election. Take necessary action. (SS)
11. Consider approving the Wise County Fairgrounds (Women's Building) to serve as the Main Early Voting Polling Place for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election, as required by the Texas Election Code. Take necessary action. (SS)
12. Consider authorizing Elections Administrator Sabra Srader to enter into a Joint Election Agreement and Contract for Election Services for the November 3, 2026 General and Special Election, pursuant to Section 31.092 and Chapter 271, Texas Election Code, with all Political Subdivisions eligible and desiring to contract for such services. Take necessary action. (SS)
13. Discuss, if necessary, the proposed FY2027 budget. No action will be taken. (JDC)
14. Receive Weatherford College Wise County budget for FY 2027. (JDC)
15. Consider accepting donations of personal property and/or various revenues to County (if any). Take necessary action. (KH)

18. Consider approval of Roadway and/or Construction joint venture Project Agreements between various Wise County Precincts and other local Wise County governmental entities, as provided for under Texas Government Code 791 and subsection 791.014. Take appropriate and necessary action. (JDC)
19. Discuss Hazard Mitigation Plan and related grant projects. Take necessary action. (CP)
20. Consider approval of Commissioners' requests (if any) for necessary access to enter onto private property so as to clean/clear certain named County road right-of-way areas for improved public safety and/or public transportation safety purposes; such requests as provided for under Transportation Code Chapter 251 (all being in compliance with Texas Constitution Article III - Section 52) Take necessary and/or appropriate action. (JDC)
21. Discuss and consider current status of Weather/Ground/Vegetation conditions for Burn Ban update purposes and for Burn Ban renewal, amendment, revisions, or rescind considerations. Hear reports from Fire Marshal/EMC in regards to recent County fires, State of Texas Reports and neighboring counties' conditions. Hear Burn Ban recommendations and/or Red Flag Day Reports. Take appropriate action. (JD)
22. Accept County Committee Reports, discuss, and consider forming and appointment of any new committees needed for any various study areas and/or projects not presently covered. Take necessary and/or appropriate action.
23 Announce next Holiday as being, Monday, September 07, 2026. (Labor Day).
24. Announce next regular meeting as being September 14, 2026.
